Ted Asregadoo welcomes writer and music journalist Bill Kopp to Planet LP. Bill’s book, “Disturbing The Peace: 415 Records and the Rise of New Wave” centers on a particular time (the early 1980s), a particular place (San Francisco), and a particular genre (Post-punk/new wave). Some of the bands and artists that Bill spotlights in his book went from the fringes to influencing the mainstreaming of new wave music in the mid to late ’80s.
