Ted Asregadoo and John Young welcome members of the Sri Lankan band Unscripted to the podcast. The band was started by brothers Shamika (lead guitar) and Saveen (bass guitar) Makalanda and Charith Fernando (drums). Later, after a lineup change, Malitha Dee (rhythm guitar) and Steven Shera (lead vocals) joined the group and have been making some very tasty, smooth, and tight funk/soul/hip-hop music that has a wide appeal. At the end of the episode, a live track entitled “Hourglass” is featured in its entirety.
