Doug’s excellent book, “They Just Seem A Little Weird: How KISS, Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, and Starz Remade Rock and Roll,” tells the tale of how three out of four of these groups went from the toilet circuit to iconic stadium bands in the ’70s. Doug interviewed over 135 people, dug through troves of archival information from music publications like Creem, Hit Parader, Cirus, Rolling Stone, and more to weave a story about the crazy and fun world of rock and roll — and how these bands reshaped it.
