Ted Asregadoo welcomes author and music journalist Michael Goldberg to talk about his book, “Wicked Game: The True Story of Guitarist James Calvin Wilsey. Wilsey went from the punk rock scene in San Francisco during the 1970s, to joining Chris Isaak to record four solid albums during the 1980s — and Issak’s biggest hit single, “Wicked Game.” While success with Issak led to a life of touring the world, Jimmy’s drug addiction eventually led to him dying on the streets of San Franciso while broke and homeless. Micheal Goldberg’s book chronicles Jimmy’s life and tragic death. Goldberg is donating 20 percent of the royalties of “Wicked Game: The True Story of Guitarist James Calvin Wilsey” to fund the college education of Jimmy’s son.
